The funeral ended today. Everyone sent her last journey off happily. It was grand. splendid. magnificient. I think it's worth mentioning about this event. A very traditional ritual as it was for my great grandmother. Having 80+ relatives pulling the rope linking to the coffin's van(which i just found out through this funeral.), three different association of "guan guan" about 25 people from each association hitting those cymbal and drums. Twenty "pretty girls" holding flower each. Six "Da Tou Wa Wa". Two big knife. One group of band consisting of twenty people.
The funeral was damn grand. rare in local. and there i'm wearing light green suit just like a patient staying in some hospital. Three "guan guan" perform at the funeral for hours, after one association completed another one came respectively. The "Da Tou Wa Wa" is the main show i guess, they were there dancing for 30 mins lol. We walked along the road and pulled the rope for roughly about 2.4km before we took the shutter bus and proceed to the bury destination.
An eye opener during the bury destination. I've never been to such places before lol. Took lots of photos during today. Be it a form of culture or something worth for memories.
